And I didn't v*!!! I cannot tell you the relief that I didn't get sick and that its just over. I have to say, I've been in a lot of pain since then, but part of that is because I told the nurses I did not want pain meds after in case it made me sick. THey probably thought I was nuts. Sooo, I was in a lot of pain because I guess it takes a while for the pain meds to "catch up" to the pain once you've decided to take them. They didn't make me sick, however they decreased my appetite. But, there were some scary moments while I was at the hospital-for one, when I was talking to the anesthesiologist, she told me before I even asked that they would give me Zofran, but that there was still a chance I would be sick because its a gallbladder surgery, and they're messing with abdominal stuff. So, I asked for extra when I woke up, which they gave me. I never felt bad at all except when I stood up right after to pee, I felt dizzy and lightheaded, and maybe a little sick. Then, as I was getting ready to go home that day, the nurse told me that there was a good chance I would throw up after I got home that night a couple times, and she even said that that was fine, but repeatedly wasn't good. Now then I got really scared and irritated because I was thinking that I made it past the time when I'd get sick potentially, but she burst that bubble for me. But, not only did I not feel sick, I felt so hungry all day and night, and ate little bits all day. I did come home and take a phenergan though, but still, very hungry. So, all in all I feel ok, still some pain, but I didn't get sick, yay!! Thank you so much for all your responses before when I was freaking! Janna
