only been 3 days? No...not yet...the longest my family has gone between sv* was 4 days....not sure if anyone has had it longer
I have heard that even after the person is feeling better, they can still be contagious for up to two weeks. So keep cleaning and washing your hands religiously. My husband was sick Thursday in the night and Friday morning, and I am still cleaning everything daily. However, you will probably be fine. But just to put your mind at ease and for extra precaution, keep cleaning!
I am not sure, but just stay clean, and wash your hands and keep them away from your face...i think that is the most important thing really. And continue to eat healthy. I hope you will be fine now.

I thought once they weren't sick anymore you couldn't catch it.
Now, I'm worried again because I've kissed my husband everyday since he
was sick. It's hard to not kiss your husband when you have one as
great as mine is but anyway, does this mean he's still contagious for 2
weeks? I read up on the Noroviruses but he didn't seem to be as
sick as what they described. Are there other stomach
viruses?? I hate this.
I know when I worked at the hospital, they advised anyone sick with a stomach virus to stay home for 48 hours. I don't think you can be contagious to a great extent after this time period, although, it may take a few weeks for your own body to adjust back to normal.

You can't catch it by kissing your husband. The only way to catch it is to actually ingest the virus, which is in vomit and feces. It is not in saliva, and it is not airborne. So if you just keep washing your hands before you eat or touch your face, you will be just fine.
