I have read thru the site. It seems that the most important thing is to find a good therarpist. Easier said than done. Since I do not know anyone where I live that has had any experience in this, I am using a list of doctors that are paid for by my insurance.

Looking thru the list, I see a lot of doctors/counsellors, etc listed with descriptions such as Clinical Psychhologist, Addictions Specialist, Grief Counseling, Easting Disorders, etc. I am trying to figure out where emet fits in there descriptions.

Where have folks had good luck with with this. Are the Dr's that specialize in Eating Disorders more likely to have success with emet or addictions or what. I am trying to narrow down the list without having to call 100's of drs.

Once I get the list narrowed down a bit, I will start calling and see if any of these folks have ever dealt with emet.

    Thanks

I would check into Dr.s that have experience with anxiety and panic disorders, and maybe OCD, even if you don't suffer from it. Good luck!

Yeah, I'd definitely look for the anxiety and panic disorder specialists. That's where emet fits.
