My mum came back from work late, and her best friends dad just died so she was with her for a bit, she came home and said she felt n* and wanted some stemetil as she dosn't like v* much either, so she just took one. She said it was hte shock of her best friends dad passing away and its made her feel n*..im just a little scared that she will v* now, but she seems ok at the moment, but do you think its the shock?..and hopefully the stemetil should kick in.

    hey hun,

Sorry to hear about your mums friend, I hope that this situation does pass, yes it may be quite a shock for her and helping her friend through it will be stressful!

It may just be that and the fact that she is tired and probably a little stressed, the anti emetic will work and help her to sleep...

    Hope you are ok?

Shock definitely can make you feel sick...it's a common symptom. And stress, we all know how that makes us feel. Try not to worry, I'm sure everything will be fine.

Hey, thanks for the replies. She still says she feels a bit n*, but i think its going off now, now im starting to get a stomach ache, but im sure thats just anxiety. I think she's also worried as her and the same friend are meant to be going on holiday to spain this friday for 2 weeks, so she dosn't know whats happening about that noe and she's been working all day for 10 hours in a call handling room, so she could just also be very tired. I sat and spoke to her for a bit and i think the anti-emetic started to kick in as she started to fall asleep, so i gave her some mags to read if she stayed awake and put the tv on for her, so i hope she gets a nice sleep, thanks for the replies.

I think she is asleep now, but im not sure as she's upstairs in her room, i'vr started to feel a bit n* now, but im sure thats because of the worry..my stomach hurts, like lower stomach, but it was hurting before she had come back, so i don't think its anything to do with that, it was 3 years ago from today since i v* over 20 times in the space of 3 hours, now this year she feels n*, funny world lol. Well im off to try and sleep now or maybe watch a film to keep calm, goodnight people if i sleeptake care.
