I feel so awful and I'm sure it's all pregnancy related. Two nihgts ago I felt really n* andwasn't able to eat or anything. Yesterday I felt ok, but this morning I felt n* again. When I got to work, the n* pretty much went away, so I had some juice and a couple of Nutrigrain bars for breakfast. A few minutes ago, my stomach starting this really weird gurgling thing. It felt horrible! I actually had to hang up the call I was on and go to the bathroom because I felt so bad I didn't know what was going to happen. I have been trying to make myself burp, hoping it is just trapped gas. It is really high, right under my ribs, probably where the baby has shifted my stomach too. I am so ready to not be pregnant anymore! I miss being able to take something to help with the n*. I am 35w4d, so I should have just over 4 weeks to go, but my doctor won't be back from vacation until a week after my due date. She told me she would induce me then, but not before she leaves. So, at a maximum, I have 5weeks and 3 days left. I don't think I can wait that much longer - not if I am going to feel like this all the time! Sorry for the vent post - I just needed to complain a little bit.

It sounds like it will happen soon! Be prepared. One of mine was born 5 weeks early and the other one 3 weeks early!

I've heard eating something savoury/salty can help with pregnancy nausea. I can imagine you are feeling really uncomfortable but it won't be long now until your baby is born, keep your chin up hon, and think about all the joy your new baby will bring

That's encouraging! Everyone keeps telling me that first babies are usually late, so I am hoping that I will be the exception to that. I love hearing about other people who had their first babies early.

I just got back from lunch. I was starving! We went to Noodles and Company and I had the Macaroni and Cheese with some juice just like I always do. Now the gurgling is happening again! Something must just be pushing against the wrong spot and making me digest weird.

I've been having a lot of Braxton Hicks contractions for the past week or so, I have a lot of pressure in my pelvis, plus the sharp pains I have been having in my cervix (and the baby has obviously dropped over the past couple of weeks) I really hope these are all indicators that my time is coming soon!

Late pregnancy can be so hard on the digestion! I definitely sympathize! Here's hoping you deliver at a nice 38 weeks! It sounds like your body is gearing up.

Baby's really can reke havock on the body.. (my son rested on my psyadic nerve a lot of the time).. wierd.. and towards the end of my pregnancy.. I was always hungry.. but could only eat little bits at a time before being full for about an hour...

It's almost there!! You're on the home-stretch now!! (I, myself, was 2 weeks late.. they wound up breaking my water after induction)..

I feel like I did back at the beginning of my pregnancy. I am either not at all interested in eating, or I am so hungry that I can't eat. I felt so hungry for lunch today, but practically forced myself to choke it all down. (TMI) Now I am burping it up and I just had one of those juicy burps that taste gross and burn all the way up your throat. Ugh! Those used to really freak me out, but since I've been pregnant they have happened so often that I don't even think about them anymore.

tayda - I know I won't be 2 weeks late because the doctor did agree to induce me at 41 weeks if I haven't gone on my own by then. I am a little nervouse about induction because I am afraid that my body won't be ready, it won't take, then I'll have to have a c-section. I am scared to death of having a c-section! I guess by 41 weeks, though, I will be ready to deliver no matter how I have to do it.

This is the worst part of pregnancy for me. The discomfort and the WAITING!!! My first baby was 13 days late and my second one was 11 days late--it sucks, but you will survive!! Just tell yourself that you will make it!! Your stomach just doesn't have any room in there, so you are feeling like crap! I used to take Pepcid like it was going out of style, and Tylenol PM (which will help your nausea, too, as it has BEnadryl in it). I hope you feel better soon, you are in the home stretch!!! Don't get discouraged!

I'm sorry you're feeling yucky. All my friends that have had babies said exactly what you are saying, they couldn't wait to just have it! lol. As far as induction goes one of my friends had one of her babies thru induction and another friend was induced for both of hers. Neither had to have c-sections and they had them rather quickly (compared to the 2 day marathons you hear about). You're going to do fine ... YOU'RE HAVING A BABY!!!!!! Try and remember the outcome, maybe you could distract yourself w/ some of the planning etc? Good luck and feel better!
