I know green tea is supposed to be good for the stomach and good for your health, but it makes mine go crazy (gas, nausea, D*, etc...). Does anyone else have this problem? I have tried green tea with and without food, producing the same result.

Hmm. You may have an intolerance for it. I think for every food out there, there is someone who is allergic/intolerant of it.

Have you tried white tea? It tastes similar to green, but is a bit different.

white tea is actually great, it is a lighter flavor however...but the processing of making white tea is by far more superior than green tea, making it better for you...decaf tea is great as well!! i actually prefer that!!

green tea DOES contain caffeine - which might be the problem. But it could also just be an intolerance. For me, anything "decaffinated" makes me horribly sick with diarrhea and weakness and flushed. Bah!

Roibos tea has no caffeine and is very good for the immune system - supposedly it's even better than green tea. I quite like the taste, too. They say 1 cup of Roibos tea can susbstitute for 1 fruit or vegetable of your daily requirement of 5-10!

The only problem that I have with all caffeinated drinks is the heart palpitations, I can only drink the no caffeine. I guess different tea's depends on the person.
