I have been trying really hard not to post this, but now I am starting to worry and could do with some reassurance.

This evening I took my daughter for her swimming lesson. The swimming pool is not a very big one and the parents all have to sit very close together. One mum always brings her baby of 9 months with her. The mum and baby were sat very close to me and suddenly the baby v*d on her mum. It was not very much and I assumed it was just baby s*, but then the mum went on to tell another mum how the baby had d* all day. This sent me into panic mode and I had to move and sit somewhere else.

As if this wasn't scary enough, another mum had her son with her and she was telling me her son had been off colour with a high temperature all day.She had not wanted her daughter to miss her swimming lesson so she had brought her ill son with her.He would not settle, so she called his nanny to collect him. For some reason the nanny was waiting outside with the boy and as we came out of the swimming pool the little boy was v*ing. I quickly hurried my daughter away.

I really don't think my daughter was close enough to the baby or little boy to catch anything. My son was not with us thank goodness.Hopefully I will not catch anything from the baby. My daughter has been having swimming lessons since January and we have had no v* situations, then 2 happen on the same evening. What is going on? I keep replaying the images in my head. Yuck! I'm not really likely to catch anything am I? My husband is home in 5 days and I really don't need the children or myself getting ill.

I know this must have been really awful, but I highly doubt you will catch anything. Just try to think about how happy you and the children will be when your husband is finally home!

Thankyou daffodil. i am actually quite calm about it today. I really am trying to think positive and think we will be fine. I hope I'm not going to regret saying that. I just wish I had not seen it and then I would not have even known and would not have spent all of last night worrying. Never mind, only 5 days until my husband is home, so thats something much nicer to think about.

I doubt you will catch anything...really, and your daughter will be fine too....it was just something that happen, and since hopefully the little boy left the pool area, and got home safe. Just focus on your hubby coming home and get your mind off what happened. Good luck, i know you won't need it, just think how excited you are going to be to see your hubby

Thankyou everyone. I am actually handling this better than usual. I have not spent all day worrying about it. I think it is because I am so excited about my hubby comming home. Just 4 more nights without him!! Then he will be home for about 2 and a half months. hooray!!

Also, my friend came home from hospital today and I have visited her. She looked quite well considering what she has been through. It was good to see her feeling better.

I am concerntrating on good thoughts and trying to forget yesterday. JUST 4 DAYS TO GO. I feel like dancing round the house. I am like a bottle of pop, lol.

Oh no...I know that it is hard, but it sounds like you are doing a really good job with handling it. I bet you are sooo excited to see your hubby, I am happy for you!
We have got to be able to laugh at ourselves about this!!
