V* in POTC2

I saw POTC2 last night and there IS a v*ing scene.

It happens during a scene with Keira Nightly, Johnny Depp, and Jack Davenport (aka: Commodore Norrington) as they're boarding the ship in Tortuga. Jack Davenport's character is very drunk and he v* three times.

However, if you're a fan I wouldn't recommend not going. Just do the standard ears plugged eyes shut thing. It was disgusting, but I love POTC so, even in after seeing it, I'm not sorry I went.

Thanks for the heads up, chica! I'm going to see it with some friends tonight. I'm usually ok with v* scenes in film and on TV, but it's nice to be prepared for them, anyway!

Yeah I saw it too, and it didn't bother me! He makes some pretty gross sounds and you can see him do it a couple of times, so yeah.. I'd watch out for that. I felt very brave for watching it without even flinching.

thanks for the warning!! are they all really close together (within like 30 secs of each other) or not? It sucks just about every movie has these scenes v_v but I still can't wait to see the movie!! I'll probably go on Sunday I know afew people who went to the midnight showing, I'm so jealous, I couldn't go because I had to work today and couldn't be out last night >.>;;

I didn't actually find it that bad. I just don't think it sounds very realistic is all.. Definatly don't put off going for it :P

Oh, why do they insist on adding those scenes to so many movies now a days? Ruins it for me!


But I will try to make myself sit through it.. I do want to see the film!

I saw it too, and it doesn't look or sound realistic at all. Ususally I scream and close my eyes and plug my ears. It just looks like he is spitting out mouthwash or something, it really didn't look like v*--in fact it took me a sec to realize that's what he was doing!! I thought he was washing his mouth out after he got thrown in the mud and the pig poop at first!!

Edit: I saw the movie, it is great!! ^_^ The scene really isn't bad at all! I really didn't realize that that was "it" for a few seconds... it really did just look like he was spitting. Edited by: confusedgirl

Yeah I agree it wasn't very realistic. And after THAT ending, you don't even be thinking about it, so trust me it won't spoil the movie.

I just thought people would like to know.

It wasn't bad, actually. It actually seemed more like he was spitting water
(like, if you took a big mouthful of water and spit it at somebody as a joke). I
didn't even feel n* which I usually do (like, for instance, while watching
House).

MOVIE IS AWESOME THOUGH. YO HO!

I saw it yesterday and was warned of the v* scene. About half way through the film I started to worry that it would be coming up but when it did it didnt panic me atall. It didnt even register until after it had happened. I defenatly wouldnt miss the movie just because of that very short scene

I agree, it really looked like he was spitting out water or washing his mouth out and there weren't any sounds while they were showing it and the sounds that were on after were so fake sounding. I honestly didn't realize that he was v'ing. The movie was so good that I can't wait til next year!![img]smileys/smilies_02.gif[/img]
