Does anyone out there take seizure medication for this phobia? Thats what my doc has me on and the side effects are very dangerious.

Great site! Have had this phobia for over 40 years & have given up hope of a cure. But thank God I haven't passed it on to my sons. Anyway, good to know I'm not alone!

I found this website a while back & it was such a relief that i wasnt alone!!In march this year i started cbt (cognitive behaviour theropy) & i am being discharged in november..i cant say the thought of being sick still doesnt panic me but i can now deal with the thoughts & it no longer rules me.

I am so glad to find this sight. I have been living with this phobia since I was 8 and I am now 27. It is wonderful to know that I am not alone and that there are people here to talk when I need to, that know what I am going through. Especially since I have told no one about this.

Would just like to say how amazing it is to realise so many people suffer with this phobia! I am 29 and have had it for as long as i can remember, ive had hypnotherapy/ exp therapy only made it to one session (was to traumatised to return!) the best help for me is realising im not alone Thanks

This is the only site that I could find that is very active. It's helped answer my questions and give me relief from my fear. Its the greatest support! Thanx John for setting up a wonderful site!

i am really interested in discovering how to recover from emetophobia- its horrible 2 b so freaked out over bugs + stuff, is it possible just to recover naturally without couseilling etc? this website is helpful- thnks

i'm phobic of v******** becos my lil bro used 2 choke when he v****** regularly as a little baby/ tot + went blue + it was quite horrible- i'm pleased not 2 be alone in my phobia, guess phobias hav lil reasons behind them

i think this website is really helpful with others experiences- here's one of mine- my uncle was v****ing in my living room for 3 days + unwell for a week @ our house and i did not completely freak out + went in the house even while he had the infection

hi ive been afraid of this as long as i can remember i thoght i was the only one with the problem and felt stupit over it.every time i feel so sick i have to walk outside pacing up and down till i make it go away i dwell on it so much in my life that i am scared to have children.
