Hello. My name is Emma and i'm 18 years old. I have been suffering from emetophobia for most of my life now, but as my teens have progressed its gradually getting worse. The last time i needed to vomit i had a panic attack and then blacked out. This phobia has since affected my ability to swallow/eat normally etc. with the fear of choking which could lead to vomiting. It's starting to take over my life and I have realised i need help so was relieved to find this forum. Aside from my secret phobia i lead a normal life with a family, boyfriend, friends and good grades. Recently my emetophobia has lead to a type of anorexia and i run a blog about my experiences with both at www.emmakatemcdonald.blogspot.com .

I am currently still at school but i work at a grocery store at the weekends.
