My name is Jess, and I have struggled with emetophobia since I was 10 after an incident in primary school where someone was ill in the classroom. My older sister also used to have the phobia however she has now overcome it, and is starting her nursing degree next year. This encourages me that I can hopefully be less afraid one day. I had hypnotherapy when i was 11 which greatly improved my fear. I've been in therapy for other things since I was 13 and I am currently undergoing CBT which is beginning to help. I'm 16 now and I know I still have quite along way to go but I hope that one day I will stop worrying and you will too :)
