Biography:

I'm 28 and have suffered with emetophobia since I was 15. I only started admitting to my family I had a problem when I was 17 and they were very supportive, but sadly psychologists and even psychiatrists didn't help at all. My mom finally found a very effective therapy where I had to look at pictures, listen to sounds and watch videos of people v*ing. It sounds awful but it really helped. Since then, I've had a few relapses but I'm doing much better and am able to leave the house, eat and drink, participate in life etc. I still get nervous and scared sometimes but I know it will get better again. Hoping to be able to help some people here and ask for advice as well.
