I'm so sorry! I just saw this message now. I'll elaborate for you, I just hope it doesn't make things worse for you! The woman who prepared the school lunch had a staph infection in her finger. The lunch that day was baked ham. She portioned the ham on trays without gloves, and then put all of the trays into a warmer where the staph grew very rapidly. All of the kids, and teachers, who ate the ham became very sick about 1-2 hours later. Because it was all happening so fast, the school was loading sick kids onto school busses and sending them to the hospital. There were sick people everywhere, laying in the bathrooms, the hallways, and on the front lawn of the school. The smell was horrendous. I didn't buy lunch that day (or ever again after that) but seeing that many people getting sick at one time (the total ended up being about 150 people who were infected) was terrifying. I really hope I didn't scare you!

finlady i just saw your post about your whole school getting food poisoning. that is so scary!!! the reason im messaging you about it is because i was wondering if you'd elaborate on it a little, since i'm in school still and thats just about my worst nightmare. what food did they get sick from? D:
