I'm a little nervous right now. I just ate a hot dog cold, and I've read that can be bad for you. It was cooked on the grill last night and stored in the refrigerator. Do you think it is OK? Have any of you eaten leftovers without reheating them?

hot dogs are fine even if they've never been cooked by you! That's cuz they're already cooked before they're packaged. So there's no such thing as a "raw" hot dog.
Plus...anything that's been in the frig is fine. No worries!
I've eaten quite a few things that were cooked on the grill, then put in the fridge, and then not reheated. Like steak and hamburgers, I think you'll be fine cause it was already cooked. I mean it's not like it was raw or anything.

Thanks guys. I just worry about Listeria, which can be on cold cuts and hot dogs.
When I was little I used to LOVE "raw" hotdogs. Then I got scared to eat them that way. I used to eat them like that all the time. Reminded me of bologna. So you can eat them that way?
Well it's the next day now, and I'm fine. So I guess we can conclude this is safe!
Ya smokey - hot dogs and bologna are exactly the same thing, except in different "forms"!
YAY!!!!!
Thanks Sage!!:)
