New to Forums, Emetophobia struggle

Hello all! I am 19 years old and I have been struggling with emetophobia for over 12 years. I think this started when I was 7, and I saw my mother v* and I remember the whole family started panicking and that's when I think my phobia started happening. I am scared when I see other people V* but not myself. I usually just run away as far as I can. I hate it so much. Last time I heard my sister puking, I locked myself in my parent's bathroom for 1 hour :(. This has been plaguing my life and I hope to get some recovery soon in the near future. I'm just glad I'm not alone in this phobia. My family doesn't seem to understand my phobia, but hopefully I can find some support in this group.~
