Emetophobia Chatroom

I was just wondering if we could change the chatroom in some way? It says things such as 'latest post' and stuff on the box but even when people go in it doesn't show up, so we never know if there is anyone in to talk to. I just thought maybe we could have some way to access the chatroom at the same time as we check posts and such, and if anyone is on that needs help we will see it and have the option to help them. Because when I've needed to chat, lots of times there are people on the site but they just haven't read my post and don't know that I'm in the chatroom and needing help (but don't get me wrong, some people do come eventually and are very kind and helpful in chat!). Just an idea, thanks for reading.
