This does not solve anything. The chat room is helping people. It doesn't help everyone to close the chat room because of one troll and a couple of people who can't deal with the troll. Doug
No one can post because of the troll. The troll posts photos so fast, it knocks out everyone else's posts. There has got to be a way to keep them out.

I would be OK if the uploading of files could be banned in chat. That would keep the troll away. It is distracting when ppl upload photos anyway. Doug

Or simply password protect it so non members can't log in.

Twinmom made a thread the other day that she was going to leave since this site was not helping her in her journey.:(
I hope they are able to reopen the chat room with a safety net soon. Now, I am back to reading the regular news which is full of school shootings. Another one today! What is it with people?! This never happened when I was a kid. If people didn't like each other, they just got into a fist fight. I miss those days.
Where is the chat room? I don't know how to find it.
There is a link on the bottom of the page, however, it is closed while the admin figure out a way to keep the trolls out.
I think twinmom left for a pretty reasonable reason. She left because it wasn't helping her, not because of the chat room. I'm happy she felt like she didn't need IES for her recovery and that she's doing something she thinks will help :)
im sure the chat will be reopened as soon as they can figure out how to stop trolls and the like :)
I really liked the chat, it is very helpful. I just joined and it made me feel better to go and sit in chat. Hope it re opens
