without a doubt. lol
*her* lol.
Tanks for making it.
I think I would..but at the same time, I would still worry if something went wrong in the surgery and it had the opposite effect!
definately will.
Indeed.. although it seems a tad dangerous seeing as that part is there for a
reason. Ha ha cannot say I wouldn't opt for that surgery!
I would be worried that if I ingested somrthing horrible that I would need to vomit to stay alive. What if I drank windex or something thinking it was kool-aid and I couldn't vomit and died?
Well I guess thats silly cuz I highly doubt I would drink windex.
I amuse myself.
I would in a heartbeat! I mean, I could live like rats and horses! They don't v*, why should I?
ya know, i really cant decide, i wanna say yes, bu v* is very helpful to the body, ridding toxins and all. i really cant say. however, if there was some other way to rid the toxins to replace v*, than i would do it without a doubt.

But most of the time it's just a basic immune response that doesn't do anything, like if you have a sv it won't make it go away any quicker (according to members on this site; don't complain to me if I'm wrong!) So I would just have the surgery and avoid anything bad like Kool-aid-ish Windex.
Does this mean I cannot have my Windex cocktails anymore? Awww shucks!

There's a surgery for people who suffer from extreme GERD that changes
the valve from the stomach to the esophagus so it can only move things
down, and never up. So it's physically impossible to get heartburn or to v*.
But once again, it might be dangerous. Even though it's intriguing.
Indeed. R.I.P little goat.
That sounds like something my brother would do!
just turn hay into mountain dew and pizza.
I'm gonna do research on that GERD surgery thing lol.
All I have to say is, if Something dangerous needs to come out of my body, there is still another exit besides my mouth LOL I'd rather have it that way...forever!
definently.
I wouldn't, I feel v****ing is important. (Not that I want to. )
I probably wouldn't.
well, i certainly would consider it.
i think i would:
think about it,
see how well it goes on you guys first,
and based on that, i'd make a yes or no decision.
That surgury that changes the esofogeal sphincter has a low sucess rate, and often turns out very painful and you have trouble eating solids and other things, I looked it up one time, i've heard of people actually v*ing because the surgury didn't go well, and they end up v*ing like once a week for the rest of their life because the sphincter is scarred and such.Edited by: jwavrek
No, but I would make everyone else around me get it.
Hah yeah I like that! I'm definitely more scared of others doing it than me!Quote:

No brain surgery for me.

I have a friend who had the surgery because she suffered from terrible GERD. That was ten years ago. She is not an emet, but said she loves the idea that she can't v*. She said she can get still get a sv and have d** just no v***.
Stella
the surgery for the GERD DOESNT always stop you from v*.
I had to put... a big fat
YEEEEEEEEEEEEEEA BABBBBBBBBBBBBBBY
Hmm. Maybe.
I don't know... the thought of having surgery on my brain kind of scares me, especially if it isn't absolutely necessary. Plus, I know in some situations, it serves an important purpose. But yeah... that sounds pretty good. But I still don't know...
and I would send my husband and daughter since I live with them. See I am more afraid of others but don't like it myself (and if I'm contagious then I worry that others will get it etc etc etc).
I agree.... same here! I most likely wouldn't get the surgery myself (brain surgery = scary!!) but I'd want everyone around me to have it done!!Quote:

Though, when I actually think about it, brain surgery isn't exactly "quick". Hmmm.
Still, I'm voting affirmative!
