    Re: Christian Emetophobics

I am a Christian, and while I still struggle with this from time to time, for the most part, I believe that my faith and God is what carries me through day to day. Especially if one of my kids get...

    Re: OT: Medifast

Hmmm, I'd like to lose 10-15 pounds, I may try this, thank you! Another question, do you feel somewhat satisfied with your meals? Also, are they good?

Re: Best anti-v* in the world

Yes, doctors in general don't see vomiting as a big deal. I think that's why sometimes we feel we have to lie to get anti-emetics. Not saying it's right, but that's why.

    Re: OT: Medifast

I've heard that it works well but then as soon as you go off of it, you gain all the weight back. Now, I'd still be willing to try it though because if you were very careful about watching the scale...

Re: Washing dishes after Norovirus outbreak

Yep, I understand the want to soak things in bleach, etc., but we don't wash our hands in bleach if we've been exposed to the sv, so I'm sure the same is true for the dishes. I'd wash them with soap...

Re: New - Scared & Embarassed of my problem!

I'm so sorry, this sounds so horrible. The anticipation is the worst, wondering who it will hit next. You are doing your best, hang in there. Sometimes when my boys are sick, I will allow myself...

    Re: both kids are sick.

I am so sorry, it is traumatizing isn't it? My twelve year old had it a couple days ago, and this time he only vomited three times, but in between he was so miserable and nauseous that I was near...

    Re: Phenergan

Dramamine kept me from v* with a sv a couple years ago. It is really good for helping nausea, and they have it in less drowsy form too. I've also heard unisom is good also. I like phenergan, but...

    Re: Gallbladder Surgery

I had mine out, and had no stomach issues at all. I finally STOPPED feeling sick all the time. Now, I have some other issues, such as bowel issues, but those are getting better and I don't regret...

    Re: 30 times

One time my son vomited 40 times, but he ended up in the hospital for a week and it was like every five minutes. So if someone vomited 30 times, I would be surprised they were still standing!
  13. Re: What food/drink reminds you of a bad experience?

Hot Damn, you know the alcoholic drink? Shudddddder. It's cinnamon evil. I ate chili before I drank that, and the outcome was not pretty. I still love chili though. I don't even like to look at...

Re: Alcohol can be good for your stomach

It says in the bible that wine helps the stomach. I can't remember where or how it's said, but it does. Interesting! Gives me a headache though.
