    Food!

What do you guys eat on a typical day (a day as if your emetophobia just vanished)? :)

    Re: Fainting and v*ing

I fainted during a blood test! Was feeling extremely nauseous and there was a soft ringing in my ears. My chest felt really heavy. Before I knew it I passed out. The strangest part of the whole...

    Relaxation techniques?

What are your relaxation techniques when you are feeling anxious/nervous/on the verge of a panic attack? How do you cope with n* caused by anxiety?
  11. Re: How many times have you v*d in your lifetime?

I can't be anywhere near a "vomit bin" or else I really will vomit.
  12. Re: How many times have you v*d in your lifetime?

gumdropper1, I look at your ticker and I'm absolutely astounded. That's a long, long time from your last v* episode!
  13. How many times have you v*d in your lifetime?

    Old topic, new thread.

    My v* history:

age 6: my cousin crushed a snail with a rock (total un-emetophobic episode)
age 7: drank milk while I was running a fever (ugh)
    age 8: food poisoning...

    What.

Since last week, there would be moments throughout the day that I would (for no particular reason) check the time on my phone or laptop and see:

    11:11
    5:55
    1:11
    3:33
    or 2:22

    This has...

-sleeps on the couch, any couch.

    Re: am i getting sv?

Sounds more like a throat infection of some sort.

A throat infection is usually accompanied with abdominal pain and nausea (which is why most children with a TI have loss of appetite).
  18. Re: Is there anybody in your life who is very supportive of you in this?

    My best friend. :)

My family is a throng of unsupportive pigs.

    Coddling the phobia

We emetophobes have been through hell and back, so to speak.

And I'm just so tired of my hamster wheel; that being, the cycle, the pattern, the obsession with vomit. I've come to a conclusion...

    Re: Anything else.

Ah well, I can relate. As for my anxiety - coming from a superstitious family, I was told at an early age that it was no more than having a weak stomach and [even] dysphagia that had me all riled up....

    Anything else.

    Hello,

So I was wondering whether any of you with emetophobia have it coupled with a "brain cootie" or disorder(s)? For example, I not only suffer from emetophobia, but an anxiety disorder, manic...
