Isn't that funny?
I can function on Phenergan if I'm moving around, for about 3 hours...then I have to nap for an hour or so.
It affects everyone differently, I suppose.
It does sound like gas pains.
I get them every time I don't get enough sleep, or am stressed out, and since you have both of those PLUS being pregnant... smileys/smilies_02.gif
I wouldn't worry....
I think it's gross too, but I'm able to look at those kinds of sights once in a while.
It doesn't bother me emet wise, just makes me go, Ewwwww, GROSS-but I think it helps in some small way. I'm...
My husband is from the Canton/Akron area, and we get out to Ohio to visit quite a bit.

Yuck.
I'm very sorry...but you seem to be doing quite well!
Stay positive!
My husband and I are moving to St.Petersburg this September, so we'll be close then...
I'm currently on Andrews Air Force Base in Maryland, just south of Washington, DC.
Could it be something besides a virus?
Any time I've had an actual virus, my stomach doesn't HURT...I just feel nauseous.
Could it have been something she ate?
It's an antihistamine-most of them will work for nausea.
Unisom, Benadryl, Dramamine...Phenergan is an antihystamine, and I swear by it.
The OTC ones are just weaker.
I want to say no, but then again, my little brother's best friend had one a couple years ago, gave it to his sisters, who gave it to his parents, who then made him sich again. smileys/smilies_12.gif
Myself mostly, others if they are contagious.
My husband has a weak stomach and throws up all the time (indigestion, nerves, grief) and it doesn't bother me-I will kiss him right after (provided...
I haven't heard about anything in my area, but then I live on Andrews AFB, and we're pretty closed off...THANK GOD.
My former therapist told me that since I had a high tolerance against vomiting as a child, I have an even higher tolerance now that I'm an adult. <shrug>
I wouldn't worry too much about that.
I'm O neg, and haven't had a stomach bug that involved more than diarrhea in (knock on wood) 12 years. smileys/smilies_01.gif
I live on Andrews AFB in Maryland-I hadn't heard about the virus outbreaks here smileys/smilies_11.gif but I'm trying to remain positive-I don't have children, work from home, and really only leave...
I use Phenergan, and it has stopped me from vomiting after I had been over the toilet for several hours. The generic name is Promethazine.
I'm sure you're perfectly fine.
Remember, they leave mayo out on the shelves in grocery stores-it's not refrigerated until you bring it home.

I too would have eaten it...
I also use NuvaRing, and had only the tiniest twinges of nausea for a couple hours the day after I inserted it during the first couple months-NOTHING compared to the nausea I had on the pill. UGH. ...
I always get dry heaves only, no vomiting.
I had horrible food poisoning last summer, to the point where I was PRAYING to throw up, and still, nothing.
It sucked, because all that esophageal...
I really don't know what in a chocolate cake dessert could make you sick even if it was out for a DAY, honestly.
I can't burp either-I also get the little "bubbles" that come up. smileys/smilies_12.gif
Sounds very much like GERD.
I'm a pretty steady 7-8.
It's weird though, because while I panic at least mildly about it EVERY DAY, I still eat too much sometimes, go out to eat, eat at picnics, order chicken, have no problems...
Yep.
I also had this thing once where I just slept about 18 hours a day-no other symptoms.
It turned out to just be a virus. There are all different types of those-sometimes your body just needs...
It discolors your tongue and stool, but that's not dangerous, it's just the bismuth reacting with bacteria.
I've used Pepto for mild diarrhea, but I wouldn't trust it for nausea.
