I had a chest infection at New Year, it was pretty bad and it took me two weeks before I could leave the house and another two weeks to get back to work. I didn't take antibiotics, the gp agreed that...
Hi there,
I agree with Sage too. I think the nausea would get so bad that you would have to wake up - this has always been the case for me - there is no way I can sleep when my stomach feels...
Hi Mark, I wanted to thank you for posting your story. It is encouraging and inspiring to hear that you have cured yourself of emetophobia. We hear so often that this phobia fails to respond to...
You will be fine, the virus cannot live on inanimate objects for that long. M x
Hope your mum is feeling better today and you are okay too. Mx

Hi Laura,
I am glad I was at work and missed that on the TV! I would be feeling the same as you if I'd seen it. I am in Scotland too, so at least we are some way away from it, but it will only...

Yep me too, the last sv* I had, I had horrible chills, body achesand fever, that's how I knew it wasn't just anxiety or fp. I've also had the same symtoms a couple of times with flu. M x
Hi trixie - well done, you handled things so well.

Hey Gubba, what a lovely post - thanks for sharing your story. It's good to hear that therapy has made a big difference with your emet. We need more posts like this! M x

Hi, hope it goes okay for you today. I had one a couple of years back without sedation (I was too scared that it would make me n* and I had to drive myself home), and it was okay - the nurse held my...
That is Exactly how I feel about v*ing - I think I am going to choke to death. When I hear in the news that someone has died from 'choking on their own v*', it really scares me more than anything...
Hi Hippychick!
You are so right to focus on overcoming the phobia instead of looking for ways to avoid V* altogether. I agree with you 100%- this site has taught me lots, even though I've only...
You did the right thing, you had to get your daughter away from that awful situation. As the others have said, there were people around who helped the woman straight away.
It's normal to feel...
Hi neesy, interesting post. I've often thought how dirty my bag must be and I do trynot to put my bag on the floor. Its similar to what's been said on the levels of bacteria on mobile phones; keys...
Hi Callyfung - its awful that you are feeling like this and worrying so much about next Monday.

Hi Jonyricer - I have used both in the past and no ill-effects, so I am sure you would be okay. I think they both work in different ways and on different parts of the body for the same effect - if...
