Im 20 yrs old and my parents are going away tomorrow for 10 days. I
usually feel a bit iffy when they're away, not quite safe/secure if you know
what i mean? (I know i know i'm 20!) Anyway, I've felt rough all day today,
which must mean my period is starting I usually feel really sick for days
at a time whilst i'm on, even though i've never actually v* i've felt close to
    it.

Is there any anti nausea tablets anyone can reccomend? I'm actually
anemic because my periods are so heavy, so I also get other nasty
symtoms. Usually i deal with it for fear of medication giving me even
worse side effects...but i can't take feeling ill for a week at a time and it
really stops me from living my life 'normally.'

Any help would be greatfully appreciated! Bear in mind I live in the UK so
may not be able to get hold of some US meds

Get Motilium 10, you can buy them over the counter at any pharmacy in the UK. They really work and no side-effects. They cost around £4.65 for 10! Edited by: suze

Sounds good! Have you used them? How many
would you take and how long would the effects last? Also, is it okay to take
with neurofen or other pain killers?

    Thankyou!

Yes, I use them alot!! You're meant to takeone every 4 hours I think, but I have taken two sometimes in atwo hour period, followed by another, four hours later. I have never needed to take more than this as this usually kills any bad feeling. To be honest, one usually does the trick for mild nausea. It's safe to take 2, I checked on the web, hospitals prescribe 20mg as an anti-emetic, each tablet you'll buy only has 10mg in.

I have taken them with both paracetamol and neurofen, there's nothing on the leaflet which says not to. I've also had them with alcohol, again without any problems. You'll be fine honestly, they sound just what you need.
