    I feel kinda bad after eating some pizza. It didnt have any meat or anything though. It could be just my mind or whatever, but pizza is a safe food, right?

    Was the pizza really old? If you just ordered it or made it out of a box, it definitely should be fine. Sometimes in a box it will have a freezerburn-y taste, but that's just because it's been in the freezer/

    I had the same problem 2 nights ago---I figured it was the cheese. It had aa 6-cheese mixture on it, so I think it was just too powerful for me.

    I think you'll be OK. Maybe an anntacid will help??

    Pizza is not a safe food, even if it doesn't have meat. The cheese could be not safe (i.e., needs to be refrigerated). If it was good when you got it, it should have still been good after 24 hours in the refrigerator. Tums will not make you safe from food poisoning and might even make you less safe. Tums won't help with FP, you're right, but Tums should help if it's just some type of indigestion that she's experiencing, or if the cheese or toppings were too strong for her.

    Okay, gumropper</span>is right, there's no 100% safe food. All foods can go bad eventually even bread and crakers and stuff.
    </span>
    However</span>, as long as the pizza was either fresh (ie: freshly cooked) or had been probably refridgerated, indigestion or an upset stomach from the huge amount of fat that is in pizza is a much more likely explanation than food poisoning. That is why we were advising her to take a mild antacid and see if that helps.

    Antacids can make you more vulnerable to food poisoning, but that doesn't mean that if you take them you will get food poisoning or that you should never take an antacid! Excess acid can cause problems with the lining of your stomach and esophagus, so if you need them (especially if it's only in rare instances like this one) you should take them.

    Same here. Pizza almost always gives me indigestion. I love it, though. It sounds like it should be fine, as it was refrigerated, and it didn't make you feel bad the first time you ate some.
