Did anyone watch the Tyra show yesterday? It was really interesting. It was all about germs. They followed a lady around all day and tested everywhere she went to see what kind of germs were there and it was pretty gross. They showed the different germs squiggling around on the screen and it was creepy. Some of the news was encouraging though. They said buffets were not that bad which is good news cause I love going to Vegas buffets but I am always worrying about them. Anyway they were talking about a book on there called The Germ Freaks Guide To OutwittingColds and Flu. Thought it might be interesting.l

I bought the book you mentioned in the title. Most of the suggestions in it are usually already known and practiced by hardcore emets. I would see about borrowing from your local library if they can get a copy before you go out and spend the 12 bucks on it like I did.

you know, germs are everywhere. What people don't realize is that alot of these " germs" are just good bacteria. not every germ you encounter will make you sick, alot of them are essential for life.

I'm guessing she failed to mention this because then it wouldn't quite be as shocking.

its shows like this that p*ss me off because of what they do to anyone with a fear of germs and make it seem like everywhere is filthy, when its really not.I'm sure the show was entertaining, but I wouldn't look too much into it.

I'm sorry I should have mentioned that the doctor on the show did talk about the good bacteria alot. The pictures they were showing were of the ones that can make you sick. But he did say several times that alot of the good bacteria is indeed good for you or that you need them.
