So after play rehearsal today i i got really really thirsty. I had to get
gas and i went to this little upscale shopping area that has a really
good sandwiches and wraps place.

It is a five minute walk from school and a one minute drive and all
my friends would go. Also my mom had a friend who worked there
and said that he thought the kitchen was really clean so i ate there
quite a lot. Then last year in biology we were talking about bacteria
and my teacher mentioned that her coulsin got really bad fod
poisoning from salomella at this restaurant and i hadn't eaten there
since.

I went there after rehersal to get something to drink but i thought i
would just get a cheese rice and bean wrap that used to be my
favorite so that i wouldn't look stupid just getting a drink and i could
maybe eat it but probably leave it in the refrigerator and then throw
it away a week later.

I was really hungry when i got home and just debated back and forth
that i should and shouldn't eat it. My mouth watered everytime i
looked at it. I finally just thought, come on olivia! you have to get
past this! and i chowed down and it was reaaaaaally good!

I now knock on wood. I have never heard of anyone other than that
random person about f*p* but im still worried about it. I'm sure it will
be in the back of my mind for a while but I think i still did good since
i haven't eaten there for about a year! I could use a little reasurance
but overall I am quite proud of myself!

Good for you!!!!

People get fp at places all the time, for several different reasons. If the restaurant had any violations that led to the fp, then usually they are cited and have to remedy the problem asap. I've eaten at places that have had previous fp cases too. Just think of all the people who DON'T get fp there.

I know it was a hard decision for you to ingest something you questioned--BIG pat on the back to you!! I am positive you will be fine, and maybe this will encourage you to eat them more often since they are so yummy!! Good job!

Yay!! You did really well! That would have really freaked me out- but you made the choice a "normal" (I mean a "non-emet") person would have made. I'm glad you felt you could do it and that it worked out well!
