Oh boy...My anxiety is through the roof right now! My mom and I were out shopping today at Kohls and she had to use the bathroom. So, we went in there and I sat down on the chair in there and waited for her. I look up and I see 2 little boys just wandering aimlessly around the womens bathroom, I thought this was a little odd but I though their mother must be in here. Just as I thought that to myself, I see a pair of shoes in one of the open stalls. Then one of the little boys says "Mommy...are you okay?" And she replies in a very shaken voice..."No, I'm not okay! I don't know if I have food poisoning or what!" And then she proceeded to v* all over the place, completley missing the toilet!!! I ran out of that bathroom so fast that I don't even remember opening the door! a few seconds later my mom came out and says..."I didn't think you would stick around for that..." She laughed and I asked her if she had washed her hands and she said no because she wanted to get outta there too! So, I was shaken and almost to the point of tears and having a little mini panic attack in the middle of Kohls. I ran across the street to the drug store and I bought a little tiny bottle of purell and I used the WHOLE THING on my hands and my mom did too! I didn't want to take any chances just in case she has a sv* instead of food poisoning.

About 10 minutes later, my mom and I were just browsing the store and I see the woman walking around, Shopping and looking at clothes and stuff! She was acting like nothing had happened!!! I put all the stuff in my cart back and high-tailed it outta there!

Oh boy what a day...I'm still so shaken up about it. I came home and showered for like 30 minutes! I just can't get the image and sound out of my mind!!! HELP!!!

Oh my god, that must have sucked soooo bad for you. What was that woman thinking, continuing to shop? I seriously doubt it was that important considering it was just kohls. Wow...

Hi there!!

Oh my goodness, how completely horrible!!! You poor thing......I don't think I could've stayed near the store after witnessing something like that!!!
And really, what was she thinking continuing to shop???? I cannot stand people that do that--I had a drunk woman years ago when I worked at a casino v* several times right in front of me, and then walk away like nothing ever happened. I pointed her out to the security guards (they throw people like that out) and she completely denied ever doing it!! Even though I saw her! They didn't believe her however, and as she was being escorted out guess what happened again?? This time she did it on the guards shoes. Point being, if someone is s*, they need to leave!!!
After things like that happen to me I feel panicky and awful for the rest of the day, but in the morning I do feel alot better. Just relax tonight and take it easy, and you will be alot more calm tomorrow.
Hope this helps you out a little--I know after something like that it's so hard to relax!!
Take care!

I don't understand people like that!!! I work retail, and people I see run into the bathroom and v* and still continue to shop. Even children will v* in the store, and the parents are still there...running their kids back and forth to the bathroom. People like that I blame when I get sick!!!!

I'm glad I'm not the only one who thought she was completely insane!! The thing that pissed me off the most about it was when her kid asked if she was okay, she yelled at him and was like screaming at him! the poor thing didn't know what was happening! He was just concerned!! She looked like one of those people who only really loves "Material things." I mean she had on like the designer boots and the designer jacket and the Gucci bag, it made me sick to look at her continuing to shop!!! I wanted to leave as soon as I saw that, but my mom wanted to get a few things, and we don't get out that way too often so I decided I could deal with it for a few minutes. But then, when I saw the lady again, I really freaked!! Then one of her kids came up to me and said ..."Do you work here?? My mom just threw up in the bathroom!" I was like OMG NO! and I walked away. I was shaking so bad and I think the woman could tell it was freaking me out. I know I won't be going back to that store for a LOOOOONG time!

Oh .... My ..... Goodness!!!!

I would have done the exact same thing you did! It will probably take a while to get that vision out of your mind, and I'm so sorry that had to happen to you! Gosh, even your mom was freaked out--it must have been pretty gross.

I wish I had a magical way to get the icky visions out of our minds, because I have a few of my own!! Anyway, we all understand and hope you are able to forget today very soon!!

Thanks so much for all the support guys! It was the weirdest thing though....Just before my mom and I entered the bathroom, I was thinking about you guys and all of the horror stories I have heard on here aboutPublic Bathroom v*. And I thought to myself...I just have this feeling that it's going to happen to me very soon! And then we went into the bathroom and BAM! Uggg...Im still shaking from this...I think I just need a nice hot bath and a good nights sleep.

ARGH!! That's horrible!!! I can't even imagine!!! You poor thing!! That makes me never want to go to Kohls again LOL Ugh.....some people, I swear!!! That is so gross!!!

That reminds me of a story.

This was about 6 years ago or so, I was a senior in high school and I was at home after school getting ready to go to work. It was like a week before Thanksgiving and my mom went to take the dog out to go potty. SHe took him on a leash and she came in after a few minutes holding her wrist and said "I think I broke my wrist!"

So anyway to make a long story short my dad came home a few min after that and I picked up my brother from football practice and we took mom to the ER. So we were sitting in the waiting room at the ER and I was doing my homework I would look around at the other people who were in there too. Some guy seemed really anxious and was pacing, picking up the phone and hanging it back up and just seemed really out of sorts to me. So I put all my books away in my bag and went to the bathroom. Then I came out and stayed around the corner in a different waiting room. My dad come to find me and said that I should stay in this room cause that "weird guy" had just V* all over the place!!! YUCK! So my mom was in surgery, my brother dad and I were all in the waiting room and I saw some nurses run by with cleaners and mops and stuff....thank god I got out of there when I did!!!!!!
I CAN get through this! ♥Melanie♥

i don't want to cause a scare but hand sanitizer DOES NOT kill sv germs!!! if you read the sticky thread that has alvin's q&a's you'll see his explanation for that. you have to have the ability to wash your hands and rinse them off.

OMG, poor you! What a horrible experience.

I don't understand why that lady would keep shopping? Wouldn't you want to go home and lay down if you are feeling sick? Some people!!

when i was shopping at the mall two years ago...it was the day after
thanksgiving sales day, and my whole family goes...i never expected
this...i walked in to a bath shop and some girl v* everywhere...there
was huge amounts of it, and it scared the s*** out of me, and my sister
and we left asap...it was so gross...i dont even understand...well then
we went to meet my mom at the candel shop after that, and literally
five minutes later we were in line and the lady infront of me almost
fell over becuase she passed out and started v* all over the place too!
I RAN...like no other, I was totally panicing and it sucked so much. I
was so scared it ruined my whole trip and all i could so was worry
about getting it. this was before i knew how you could get the sv* but
now i would still worry. it was so scary. I hate remembering what it
looked like and smelled like. ick. Well my mom was too hypoglicemic to
understand how scared i was cuz she and my sisters just kinda got mad
at me for wanting to leave...but then after they ate and we talked
about it, they understood. my one sister assure me they were just
pregnant...yeah right...

Ewww, that is nasty. And freaking weird!

I can understand non-emets just going about their business if it's v*ing from something which can be just a you do it and then feel better thing like motion sickness, or pregnancy.

But a sv brings you to your knees! I've had one once and I didn't even want to get up off the couch, and from what I hear food poisoning is even worse. I can't understand how she'd feel up to shopping after something like that.

I wonder if she was pregnant and just said that to the boys to not let them know mommy had a bun in the oven. UGH!!! I am sorry that happened. I would be traumatized for a week. I haven't seen anyone v* in public in years ( well, actually, a little boy v*'d right next to my table when I was at Bickford's and I just ordered pancakes and I had TOTALLY lost my appeite, as you can imagine). His mom was like " oh, you still stick?" to the kid. She was pretty cold and just .ugh...oh god, I just can't tell you how much it was from that little boy, but I was feeling so n* after...Even my aunt was a little grossed out and she has helped people who are v*ing.I had a co-worker who was very passive about v*ing at work. her and and her whole family had a sv* and she kept going into the bathroom and she said she was v*. She was so relaxed and calm talking about it. Like a sunday walk in the park, attitude..it was bizarre.I would be crying, red in the face and going home right away. I wish I had the balls to just be so ho hum about v*ing.
