Okay I have a box of Dibs in my freezer, for those of you who don't know, Dibs are small chuncks of ice cream dipped in chocolate to make them bite sized pieces. Anyway the container was opened like a month ago and there are still some left and I want to eat them but um....are they still good?

    Hi there!!

I'm sure they're fine.....I have ice cream in my freezer that's been there since the dawn of time, and as long as it's not freezer burned I'll eat it. I'm never one to turn down ice cream, and I've always felt fine.
I'm sure since it's in the freezer it'll be okay to eat.
By the way, those Dibs things are awesome!!!

Icecream is fine, monica! It keeps for 3+ months in the freezer, as long as its covered. The only time you really have to worry is if you leave it out on a warm day, then refreeze it (after its melted a bit). I didn't even know this til my boss told me (he's a chef!). Keep cold foods cold and hot foods hot, and you'll be ok.

So yeah, they're fine to eat. Lol, you've made me want some now.

I'm sure it's fine. Regular ice cream usually has a date on it, and it's usually dated about a year ahead. Dibs are fairly new, so I'm sure they're fine.

they will be fine, the only thing that happens to freezer food that is IN DATE is that the frost can make a layer on the food which is perfectly healthy to eat. eat and enjoy!

Im sure they are fine. They may not taste as good as ice cream gets a funny taste if it is too old.
