Since I'm still unemployed, and desperately need money for Christmas, I am seeking a part-time or full-time job at some retail stores in the mall. Anyone worked for a particular company they liked? Or at least semi-liked? I don't want to spend the next several weeks miserable, even if it's only temporary.

Help! Need ideas ASAP. I'm heading out to the local mall this afternoon. Thanks!

I worked seasonally at a fabric store one year. It was OK. I think the people you work w/ is more important than the actual job. Our store manager was ... eh. Otherwise it was OK even tho I'm not so crafty lol. The great thing about seasonal is even if it sucks you can remind yourself it's only temporary hehe. Good luck! Oh plus if they have the opening and you really like it and are good at it sometimes it can turn into a full time/regular job.

Bath& Body Works! You will love it, unless of course you are allergic to lotions, etc. If I had more time, I would still be working there for fun!

Do they give you a nice discount on lotions and such? I love that store! (no perfume allergies that I'm aware of!)

I work at JoAnn Fabrics and like it a lot, then again i do work with good people. You may like that, especially if you like to do craft stuff or sew. They very well may want to hire you especially for the Christmas season.
