Please, tell me what you think. I am so worried. I am home alone till
Thursday and I am so scared that I might be sick..I can't imagine
anything worse than v* while being home alone...Even the idea of this
makes me cry

1. My mom felt n* yesturday. She also had a severe colic in her
stomach. She said that it might had been from something she'd eaten but
she also did not deny the possibilty of a virus. Anyway, she did not v*
or had d*. So I wonder, even if she did have a virus, let's say her
immunity system fought it that way (without any v* or/and d*), does
that mean that the virus was killed inside of her and there's no way it
could be spread now or yesturday? I spent some time with her yesturday,
so I am worried.

2. Today I have eaten a little cake with my bare hands while being out
because there just was no place where I could wash my hands and I had
no tissues and the hunger made me sick, so I had to eat something. I
held it with my left hand. Before eating I was doing some shopping but
I had my hands washed before that. Is there a high possibility that I
got a virus? I know this is paranoid, but I guess you do understand me

Try not to worry. I know easier said than done. I really think you will be okay. I have eaten with my hands many times while I was out and never got sick. As for your mom I am pretty sure she did not have a sv*. Hope you are feeling better soon. Worrying about it sucks (trust me I know) !!!! ~Brandi~

I agree with the above poster, I have eaten many times and not been able to wash my hands, in those cases though, even though it isn't supposed to work, I use sanitizer..But I think you are fine!!

I am fine so far, but it's been only 24 hours, so I am still a bit worried.

I am also always using a napkin but this time somehow I did not have one and I was very hungry. Silly me

How are you doing now - other than nervous? I agree with everyone else. Chances are your mom didn't have a sv*. Adults usually don't get them very often, especially if she isn't around a lot of kids. And, to limit the chances even more, I'm sure she has good hygiene. Just being with her wouldn't make you sick, even if she were sick.

You would be amazed how many times I've eaten without washing my hands. My kids are 5 and 9 & we used to frequent McDonald's playland and Chuck E. Cheese's all the time. I used handwipes or hand sanitizer thinking that would prevent sv*. That's like swimming with sharks! Awww . . . I'm a wiser woman now & thankfully, my kids are outgrowing the desire to go there!

You'll be fine. Spend your time talking to us . . .
