    I tired making turkey burgers for lunch for myself, and my bfs
    dinner...well the pan is a non stick...and it looked like the grease
    didnt wash off from last time we used it...which was a chicken and rice
    dish...now im nervous that it tainted the burgers because it smelled
    for a few minutes like the rice stuff...am i just being a paranoid emet
    or is it safe to eat? Im feeling n* and scared because i think it was
    from being so hungry HELP QUICK PLEASE

    you are good...sometimes mynonstick pans do this.

    Thanks for responding...i tried to convience myself that its okay
    beacuse with cast iron you never really wash them and it usually smells
    like food when you heat it up...i feel at ease...thank you

    If there was anything there I think the heat killed it, because i am sure you cooked those puppies good.


    No worries, enjoy your meal and try and relax. I always keep ginger beer, or ginger ale in the house at all times for situations like that, just to calm me.


    Turkey burgers are good I make them all the time for my husband and kids. Sometimes I put them in the oven (broiler). enjoy[img]smileys/smilies_04.gif[/img]

    I ate it and I did freak out...especially because my bf didn't eat them...but I worried and I was fine...Im so silly sometimes...I made turkey links this morning and didnt freak out at all...and pancakes..hehe

    Oh I have never had turkey burgers...or ground turkey anything. I do love a turkey sandwich.


    But get this, I have NEVER had a hamburger or steak in all my life...not for moral reasons, just red meat has never appealed to me.


    I will tear up some poultry though.
