Didn’t think anyone ever noticed...

So tonight for New Years Eve, my boyfriend and I went out to dinner and then to a party. There were 13 of us who went out to dinner. I am terrified of getting food poisoning, so I really don't eat when we go out to dinner. My boyfriend knows that I usually just split a meal with him. SO we were gonna "split" the swordfish, but I got the house salad and side pasta too. Well, I only had 2 bites of salad, and maybe 4 bites of pasta. My boyfriend looked at me and goes, "I never really noticed, but you are really good at making it look like your eating!" I know I push things around my plate, and hold my fork so it "looks" like I am eating, but I didn't think anyone ever noticed!! I was actually kind of funny, 2 years of doing this, he is just finally noticing!


Does anyone else do this? Or am I the only one??

My parents have said the same thing to me! Usually people just remark that I eat really slowly (I don't like to eat a lot, and I chew everything carefully of course).

I do the same thing when I eat with people at a resturant too! When I am by myself then I eat normally....I have this weird thing about eating in front of people, mostly because my sisters and mom always would make comments about how I eat. Like they say I chew too loud, and my jaw clicks, and when I swallow it's annoying, so I am always embaressed to eat in front of anyone. But I do the same thing!
