So, DH tells me tonight that his employee's wife and daughter have it. Well, the daughter had it christmas day, the wife came down with it today. I'm sooo worried DH will get it from his employee and bring it to me. I know, I'm irrational and crazy, but I can't help it. What do we know about the incubation and transmission on a host with no symptoms? Like even though the employee is not sick with symptoms, is he carrying it around? Thanks for your help. No one else understands. <!--

Truthfully I don't think the wife got it from the daughter that is a really long time ago. I think we agree that it is contagious after symptoms appear. Just tell your husband to wash his hands good and you should be fine!

I'm definitely drilling me constantly and making sure he washes a lot. He thinks I'm a freak though. <!--

So long as you wash YOUR hands, and don't touch your hands to your mouth or nose or eyes, you can't get it even if he has it. He can be contageous before he shows symptoms, so practice good hygeine (always) and you will (always) be fine.
