We just took our Christmas tree down cause the garbage truck is coming tomorrow to pick them up. I am so sad that the holiday season is over. I feel like I didn't truly enjoy it this year because I let this fear ruin it for me. I love sitting in my living room at night with nothing but the tree lights on. Oh well there is always next year and hopefully this fear will be gone!

I went through a slump too, Christmas is a very special time that is over too quickly. I too love to have the tree lights on only. It's beautiful and comforting to me.

I know that feeling. I love being snuggled up indoors with nothing but the tree lights on. Now all the decorations are down things look bare and I'm feeling a bit fed up. I love Christmas and now it's over again for another year [img]smileys/smilies_06.gif[/img]. Oh the other hand my fiance hatesit and he keeps saying, thank goodness that's all over again!


Hey what's to stop you putting a few Christmas lights up in your bedroom for all year pleasure -I've kept a small string of lights up in our bedroom cos they looked so nice!

I totally agree...I felt like I had no time to celebrate because I was always working and it sucked a lot, and now its all gone, and I feel like I missed it. Im always teh Christmas spirit for the whole family, and i feel like i let everyone down. not to mention myself. stupid being poor

I felt the same when we took ours down. I feel like it's back to darkness. I hate the winter, i feel lazy and cold and all i feel like doing is sleeping, it's horrible. There def is a feeling of sadness aswell at this time of year.
