wow - lots of responses and views on this thread! Okay, so here's the deal - talked with Alvin. I'm going to postthe information from him on a sticky. THEN when the prof from UBC gives us something more, or an endorsement, or a video I'll post that too.

Thanks for the feedback, guys. The info will be back up soon.

Okay guys - it's up on a sticky. We spent all night writing it in a way that's both scientific, easy to understand, and not unnecessarily fear-raising. We think it answers all the questions you originally asked.

If you don't want to believe Alvin, please read thoroughly what the CDC says - they are the absolute world experts on contageous diseases. www.cdc.gov Alvin and I have written the info I posted in such a way as to address the fears of emetophobic people without compromising the scientific facts.

Again, please point people with panic questions to this section of the forum.

    Thanks

Thanks Sage and Alvin for your massive effort, it is very much appreciated. I think the lengths you have gone to here show how committed you both are to this cause.

    Thanks again.

Yes- pls bring it back. I haven't been on this site in 6 months but came back to check out his discussion because of a contagious question. I was so disappointed it was gone. It helped a great deal with my anxiety, and I TREMENDOUSLY appreciated all his hard work with the responses and cannot believe any one criticized the post. Some people just like to cause conflict, and you just can't take it personally.
