40th Birthday Party!!

Hi everyone!!


I just wanna share: I am turning 40 on January 26th, but had an early "40th Birthday Bash" early this year. I must admit, that I was scared (emet) about a few guests who were coming in from out of state, that they'd bring "ickies" with them into my home, but happy to say, my birthday went VERY WELL, and no one was sick, and we all had a GREEEAAATTTT time!!!! I have lots of [ics, and am posting a couple for you all, as a positive, happy thread!!

I got a dog-carrieer that will fit both of my "babies", a gift certificate for Michael's (LOVE that store), 3 Thomas Kinkade puzzles, and some nice cards. Best of all, I had my friends and sis there


My actual birthday will be the day that we go out to dinner and hubby and daughter give me their gifts. I had a wonderful birthday, and will always remember it as an emet-free, truly enjoyable day!!

I was terrified, but I quickly learned you are only as old as you feel and I definitely don't feel 40. Enjoy your day!

Here's what I've been told: Women hit their "peak" at 40 and men hit theirs at 19.


So, logically, I need to dump my hubby and find a hot 19-year-old!! LOL


What I've decided to do was make "40" FUN for me. I will do something "fluffy" with my hair, change the makeup, and lose about 35 more pounds! I will work on being hot, and have fun with it Edited by: californiagirl
