    Hi all! Glad we're back

I was curious as to if any of you had problems with your liver from
anti-depressants or anti-anxiety meds - or other meds.

I went to the dr on Tuesday b/c I had suspected I had the beginnings
of IBS (cramping, bloating, pain during sex, nausea). They took
blood and my dr called me back this am. I'm anemic and my AST
and ALT enzymes were twice what they were when I had my blood
drawn before starting buspar, my anti-anxiety medicine.

Needless to say, I'm a little nervous about it. I have another blood
test and sonogram scheduled. I'm just not sure how ordinary this is
for someone my age. I'm 25. I eat healthily and exercise (I live in a
city and walk all the time). I'm also about 20 or so pounds
underweight, so that's not part of the problem. I'm sure it's probably
just the buspar, but that just annoys me more. I'm on a ridiculously
low dose and it was something that finally helped some with my panic
without any sexual side effects, then this. Granted, I do drink on it,
which isn't good I know. But being a good little emet, I never have
    more than one.

    Anyone else run into this?

I have never had that problem with my meds. It may not be what you think, these things usually turn out to be nothing and you wonder why you have been worrying so much! Maybe you do need to change your meds, I am on Zoloft and Xanax and I am fine with them. Hope this helps!

I know people who have, yes. The problem I ran into from anti anxiety meds was that they had given me pre diabetes. Luckily I caught it in time and was able to change my blood chemistry. Just continue to get checked out and try not to worry too much.
