I've just became Vegan. Meat makes my stomach turn and I'm lactose-intolerant...so it sounded like a good idea.

    Any other Vegans?

I'm a meat eater! I couldn't live without filet mignon. However, it has to be VERY well done, and I do avoid chicken unless I cook it myself.

My 13 year old is a vegetarian (just shy of one year now). My husband and I are both meat eaters although I can usually take it or leave it but I couldn't bear the thought of NEVER having a good steak or some yummy chicken parm!

Cooking two meals every night is a challenge so any vegetarians out there with KID friendly recipes might want to e-mail them to me at [email protected].

    THANKS!

I earned the nickname "halb-Vegetarier" in Germany; I eat meat that's well-done and only eat chicken cooked by my mum (but I cut it into tiny pieces and chew it a lot and check for weird-looking bits, which offends her, but hey) and I love dairy because of the good bacteria in yoghurt! I know you have to eat tonnes of it to benefit but it's a good placebo if you hear about something going around...

Wow since writing here I've become more or less vegan I know it's a stupid way to put it, but I'd only have anything dairy-ish when I'm out (not often), so woo

I do eat meat, but it upsets my stomach, so I tend not to bother with anything except fish now (occasionally chicken). I have a slight protein intollerance which is a pain cos I love beef and lam!!. Im also lactose intollerant, but I just have goats milk n cheese instead and im fine with that. I couldnt give up cheese!! lol.

I chose meat eater b/c I eat fish and poultry. I was vegan for several years, but eventually found that that plus emet made it too difficult for me to get enough nutrients. I commend anyone who's successful at it - it just took too much time for me!

Now, like I said, I eat chicken and fish - and dairy mmmmm! But I'm allergic to eggs.

Ah, I'm a vegetarian. I was born one! xD As my parents were vegetarians when they had me. So... it's safe to say that I have never tried meat. (and I wouldn't want to, my emet makes sure of that)

I'm vegetarian and have been since I was 11 (I'm 23 now). Thats simply because I'm scared meat will make me sick.
