I was so pleased to find this site but now I'm wondering if it's going to
be a healthy thing for me to visit. Might it feed the fear? What's the
experience of long-term visitors? (Don't get me wrong I am hugely
grateful the site and all of you here... I just don't know whether I should
hang around here for my own sake.)

Since becoming active here again I have noticed that I am thinking about emetophobia more, but I don't feel any increased anxiety. In fact, even in these past few days I have read some good tips for coping that I didn't know of before.

    I've found it helpful.
This is the only place where people actually listen instead of shrug you off thinking you are a freak or somethin.

I ate meat tonight(it's been weeks!) and I'm just staying on here to keep my mind off thinking that I might get food poisoning (unlikely) but it's helping!
