I moved to BC from Cali back in August. Big, unexpected move...lots of unknowns...new relationship, etc.

I was doing fine. You'd think with all the whatifs and crap my IBS and emet would have been out of control. But it wasn't! I was eating just about anything anywhere anytime, not even pondering my gut.

Now that I have been here almost 3 months, and am comfortable, I am going insane. My IBS is driving me mad, I am popping Gravol like they were mentos, and I am always feeling n*.

It makes no sense. I should have been this weird when I first moved...not now!

Does anyone else seem to have a delayed response to what should be normal stress inducing events?

I think during the move you didn't have either the time or energy to think about it.now that things have settled down, you're basically feeling everything that was suppressed during that time. I always do best when I keep my mind busy--maybe that will help! Good luck in your new home!

I don't know...I've had similar situations where it seems like I am at my best when everything is going wrong that could go wrong...but when things are calm then I start thinking about everything going wrong. Well, I guess that isn't really the same. lol

Yeah I think being that busy you were wrapped up in all of the goings on that your ibs was on the back burner, NOW you have time to sit and reflect on it all and go back to "life as usual."
\"As soon as you trust yourself, you will know how to live.\"
Johann Wolfgang von Goethe
\"Do not anticipate trouble, or worry about what may never happen. Keep in the sunlight.\"
Benjamin Franklin
