My emet seems to hit me harder at night usually after 9pm when it's dark outside.

Anyone else notice this too?

Well, sometimes it seems like there's nowhere to turn in the night.

Yeah mine is definitely worse at night, especially around bedtime when I'm...all..alone. This may be another reason this time of the year can be tough.

Yes, it's worse at night for me, too. And I also usually sleep with the TV on. And I end up staying up late so that I suppose I feel some sense of control during those dark hours. Everything seems so much more manageable during the daylight hours! Even if I know that people in my family are actively sick, it's just so much easier for me to cope effectively and not feel panic if they are sick during the daytime.

I think I have the stomach flu right now. My family has all had it and I'm
laying in bed right now and know it's gonna happen . I have a low grade
fever and I'm ache iwent to the doctor today and he gave me zofran
and he said it might keep me from doing it . I have taken one pill and it
last for 6 hours so far so good . However , I never thought I would say
this but I almost want to do it . I think I will free myself for a while ,and
tommorow will feel like I climbeda mountain

I think because waking up and doing it means you have less control over not v* than when you're fully awake. idk
i just sleep on the couch (easy bathroom access) and with the tv on (so no one can hear me if it does happen and so i'll be more awake)

yes it def. can get worse at night. I think its because everything is quiet....and you can lay there and think. There is nothing to keep your mind occupied so of course it makes it easier to sit and dwell on all of the bad thoughts. Thats why tv helps...its a distraction to help relax you and keep your mind elsewhere. I have slept with the tv on for years and still do!
