Sufficient Permission?

Is there a reason I'm not a member with "sufficient permission" to view the private forum pages? If there is please let me know so I can help fix the problem.

I'm having this problem as well, today!
I'm logged in as usual so I suspect the problem is with the site rather than our accounts.

The same thing happened to me. I'm thinking "what did I do??" So glad to

Maybe we should edit our posts about the mod forum thing, so we don't draw attention to it?? What do you think? I've PMd a couple of them and also tried to get hold of one on messenger but I think they're not online at the moment. xxx

I don't think we should be allowed in the moderator's forum, that doesn't
make much sense

No well we're not usually allowed in there!! It's like the permission has been taken away to access Private Forum and been given to that one

I'm worried we should perhaps delete/edit our posts on this thread so as not to draw attention to it...lol

i can't see the private forum either. I onder hat is going on? I have edited my profile but that has done nothing.

newbies, the ones who can't view the private forum. Maybe it's just
coincidence or something, I'd like to think so, but perhaps it's because of all
the recent drama with the photos in there they aren't allowing any newbie

I think it must be a newbie problem ~ Caro is a junior member and can
see the private forum. And that is a good point sdfl, but the whole mod
board kind of throws me off too ...

I'm sure it's just a mistake of some sorts, perhaps trying to keep out the troublemakers. Although the ones who can't see the forum are Newbies, we are regulars on there [img]smileys/smilies_01.gif[/img]

I just can't wait for the whole thing to be resolved. I wonder if any of the
mods have figured this out yet? I miss the private forum now. It was like a
safe haven.

I've been around here for 2 years, but dont have many posts so must be considered a "newbie" because I cant see the private forum, just the Mod.

It says below your avatar if you're a Newbie or not [img]smileys/smilies_01.gif[/img] It's nothing personal, it's just based on the number of posts. It has to be quite high to get to the status above Newbie, I think I'm over 200 now but still a Newbie, I don't know how I've made that many posts, I haven't been here long [img]smileys/smilies_04.gif[/img]

hey - i'm locked out too....

someone did mention the other day after all those horrible pictures that perhaps access to the private forum should be blocked until members had a certain amount of posts....to prevent anything like that happening again. perhaps thats why we have been blocked out.

which isn't very fair....but hey ho!

I don't think it will be deliberate - quite a lot of us are very regularly in the private forum. I think they would have told us if they were going to change it!

yeah - but usually user acess in forums is set individually - if so - someone would have to have gone through each of the user ids...

its not great - mut maybe something we're just gonna have to get used to.

Oh, good. I have no idea what is going on. I am a moderator, and I can access the private forum. Cinque sent me a PM, and I am wondering if she can get in to the private forum again? I don't think there are too many "secrets" on the moderator forum, but thanks for trying not to draw attention to the fact that you could get in! Hope it's all back to normal now!
