i just watched the part in apollo 13 where the guy gets sick
and it wasn't so bad. i've never been able to watch scenes
in movies with v* in them but i've been trying and i'm just
    very excited.

My parents watched that a few days ago when I was on the computer, which is like three or four meters away from the tv. I could hear it but didn't freak out. It sounded horrible though!

    Good for you!

Why does v* have to be such an important part of TV it seems like?

well i think it is a totally gratuitous scene just to show how
"cool" v* looks in zero gravity. it is rater unnecessary in
    my opinion.

    Congrats to you!

"Exposure therapy" has been a huge part of attempting to overcome my phobia, and recently I have found I'm actually able to watch v* scenes in movies without feeling ill or too panicky. (I can recommend many movies that have helped me if yr interested, lol.)

PS, sfindlay: I KNOW! It seems like every single movie I watch has to have a v* scene in it. What is up with that?? I suppose it only serves to show how "normal" v****ing really is, right?
