When might it be safe?

I posted here since its just a question probably asked a million times

My daughter was pretty sick this week (most of you know already with my panic posts lol)

So she v* last time Tuesday night. Just wondering when I might be able to stop worrying if I got it too since I am still a bit worried I might get sick, but I am sure I would of shown symptoms by now, but I think (if it was rotavirus) it has about a week before symptoms can show no?

It all depends when you pick up the virus, and how. If you clean your house top to bottom with a diluted bleach solution (i.e. all door knobs, switches, counters, toilets, and anything else you could put your hands on) - and keep doing this for about 2 weeks - then you can't get it. Also, ensure that SHE washes her hands completely for 20 seconds after using the toilet. Then wipe down the faucets and toilet handle and anything she might have touched.

The virus can be shed in her stool for a couple of weeks afterward, so keep vigilant.

Once you've picked it up, it will show up in 48 hours or so in symptoms.
