I have done cbt and it helped quite a bit. I am not cured by any means
but I don't panic all the time and can now tell the difference between
anxiety induced n* and physical n* . Also cbt is a constant therapy
something that needs to be practiced really nearly everyday to make it
work and alot of work it is.
Also usually now able to talk myself out of a panic attack. Took a long
time though. You need to find the right therapist. It took me about 10 to
find the one that helped me most.
I have not heard the best things about hypnotherapy but always wanted
to try it. So I don't have much of an opinion about it. If you do it let us
know how it goes. I would be interested to hear if it worked for anyone
else here. I had heard from a few others that it had not.
