Touching face

Apparently to avoid catching any viruses you are advised to not touch
your mouth, nose, eyes or face. I understand why with the first three
but what's wrong with touching your face? Could it be that you could
touch your face then your mouth whilst eating for example? I touch
my face all day at work ( work on a hospital ward!) but j make sure
not to touch my mouth nose or mouth. Should I stop touching my
face?

so do i, like i put my hand on my chin and such, that doesn't bother me, and i just don't touch my mouth or eyes. i think it's fine, i think they mean eyes mouth ect..ya know?

I agree with what is posted above. I think they meant not to touch your
eyes, nose and mouth. When I say nose. .you can itch your nose etc
but you can catch things via your nostrils. Maybe thats why they said
face? I am not sure.. either way I don't touch near my nostrils, eyes, or
mouth when I am at work.

I touch my face but make sure to stay clear of my mouth and nose.I usually rinse my mouth if I touch it or something just to be safe.
