Is anyone else participating? The aim is to write a 50,000 word novel in one month!This will be my third year, and by golly am I going to get it done. It's great to take your mind of things, and I bet none of us are short of anything to base a story on!

I belong to a book club and we had a local Toronto author Ania Szado (www.aniaszado.com) come talk about her wonderful book The Beginning of Was. She told us about this and said she always participates, that it's a wonderful exercise for writers. Given that I'm already two days late having a baby (my 2nd), I'm guessing this is not my year to participate, though I'd absolutely love to.
