    Hey everyone,
I haven't come here or written in many years. I am wondering if any nurses here could let me know about how often they come across a patient who v*s and has to be around it. What exactly is a nurses duty with that? I am not so concerned about picking anything up like an SV, but a bit concerned about seeing it happen. I am considering a path in nursing, and would like to eventually work in possilbly E.R, ICU etc, so I don't want to take a path of desk job to avoid V.
Thanks! ANY info would help...Also how hard is it to become a nurse? Thansk

I'd like to know about this too. I'm not planning to be a nurse, but a
career in the medical field does appeal to me. I imagine that nurses see
the most v*, but I could be wrong.
