I have done some research about norovirus. My research shows me that the virus can withstand temperatures up to 60C and pH levels between 5 and 10 (the lower the number, the stronger the acid, the higher the number, the weaker the acid). >>microbiology.mtsinai.on.ca/bug/norwalk/nor-bug.shtml

I also found out that coffee has a pH level of 4.95, and coke a pH level of 3.4. So, in theory, would the coke and/or coffee (assuming it is well above 80C) kill the virus?
