A little fun to keep our mind off things!!

So I was reading the facebook status of a friend of mine and he used to drive a Zamboni years ago. Then someone mentioned another brand of "ice resurfacer" I never knew Zamboni was the brand name. Everyone just calls them Zamboni's! So I was talking to my husband and I started naming other products that have come to be known as their brand name. I'll give a few examples:
Band Aids
Q-tips
Scotch tape

I have a whole list I came up with. Let's see how many you can think of!!

See here nobody calls them Band aids, we just call them plasters
The Hoover thing is true though. When my mum and her friends get talking about housekeeping they are like 'oh what hoover do you have' with the response 'dyson/whatever' haha
I guess iPod has also become a synonym for mp3 players now.

Ok then some of these won't make sense to you!! Lol I have some friends in the UK and I always laugh when they talk about hoovering. We just call it vacuuming.
